My name is Jade Miller. Even though I'm only 12, I'm already the published author of "Sybil's Ride of Courage". I wrote "Sybil's Ride of Courage" in first person, placing myself in Sybil's shoes to portray what she could have experienced during her historic ride. The result is an exciting story for kids about Sybil and her loyal horse, Star. I've been writing and reading stories as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I would borrow stacks of books almost as tall as I was! I still love the library and consider books my food- I can't live without them. My understanding of horses comes from my interest in them. I like horses and used to read reference books about them. I also used to ride horses and fell off six times.
