Gwen Madoc was born in Swansea, UK, and has lived there since. She trained at Clarke's College and worked as a personal secretary for some years before joining the Civil Service, leaving eventually to write full time. She had three novels published under the name Doreen Edwards in 1997/8. On changing publishers she took the name Gwen Madoc. A further nine novels followed from 1999 through to 2008 including Historical Romance and Family Sagas. Gwen loves Swansea and its people, and is very interested in passing on her skills and experience as an author to aspiring writers. Gwen is currently writing on Wattpad.com She has completed one novel, POVERTY'S PRIDE and is presently writing a Regency romance THE BARONET'S DAUGHTER. http://wattpad.com/GwenMadoc
