Dr. Moss specializes in Post-Kantian German philosophy with special attention to foundational problems in Metaphysics and Epistemology. Dr. Moss is a philosophical generalist with broad interests in other areas such as Philosophy of Religion, Philosophy of Mind, the Kyoto School, contemporary German philosophy, as well as the relationship between German Idealism and Ancient Greek Philosophy. He has published in a number of journals, such as the The Journal of the British Society for Phenomenology and the Northern European Journal of Philosophy. Most recently, Dr. Moss published Hegel's Foundation Free Metaphysics, which won the 2022 Hegel PD prize. Dr. Moss is currently an Associate Professor of Philosophy at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
