Gordon Crane's first childrens book "Hattie's Hats" was officially released July 12, 2011. He is currently writing three more books in this series. Gordon has made working with children a lifelong endeavor through coaching, as a Special Education teacher, and raising two wonderfully spunky daughters with his wife Linda. Drawing from his experiences growing up in a middle class family with two brothers and two sisters and mixing them with memories from those he mentored along the way, Gordon uses the "had to be there" moments to create imaginative and entertaining stories. Often his gentle touch of humor hits close to home for his readers both young and old. In reading "Hattie's Hats," it is certain the family will find delightful similarities with Hattie Long and her clan.
