I grew up in a small Texas town where I met some of the most magical people you could imagine. My family moved around a lot and I continued that once I got out on my own. I have been a teacher and a nurse but my dream has always been to be a writer. It's the only thing that predates my dream of becoming Indiana Jones.
In the summer of 2014, I went mental. I started having panic attacks, four or five a day, and couldn't sit still any longer. I quit my job without notice and moved across the country, crying the whole way. Things got even worse and led me into a mental hospital where I spent the longest week of my life.
Soon after that I found out that I'm bipolar 1. My life has changed drastically since I started taking pills. I told myself, at my lowest, that this time in my life would only be a waste if I kept it to myself. I wrote Bipolar Express about this time in my life and have since written four fictional stories. I'm presently trying to write a follow up to BP Express but it is very slow going right now.
