Frank Spinelli, award-winning photographer and writer, lives on a mountaintop in Woodstock, N.Y. He won his first camera in a raffle at the age of ten and has never stopped taking pictures. His previous book, “The Glorious Mushroom”, was photographed in the woods around his home in the Catskill Mountains. Frank has lectured about photography at the School of Visual Arts, and Parson’s School of Design in New York City. The Burning Man project is the result of three trips to the event and one year of research on Utopian communities.
