Frank R. Chappell published his first short book of poetry, "An Atheist Who Prays," as a high school senior in a small town in western Pennsylvania. He then meandered through twelve years of social science education, travel, military service, counseling, and teaching. Chappell continues to write amidst the harangue of full time teaching, part-time military duty, and preparing for more of the anthropological musings he loves.
