Curmudgeon, Author, and Magician (but a rather bad one) I've lived in Washington DC for far too long, watching the antics of the politicians, and exploring the dark corners of the city. The "Last American Wizard" series is the result of decades of venality, ignorance, and cupidity.. And that's just what's inside ME. What's inside everyone else in this city is far, far worse! And luckily, far far funnier. I had a wife, two children, two grandchildren and a dog but I traded them all in for a KIA Soul in 2010. I have to say the car works better than everything I traded in but I do miss the dog. I've worked for 45 years but after the job turning out 1250 cookies a night in the Swarthmore College Dining Hall, the rest is just lost in the fog.
