Born and raised in a small town in Eastern Kentucky. I have wore many hats in my life. I have been a steelmaker, businessman, teacher, college professor, psychotherapist and social worker as well as a tireless advocate for those who have had no voice. But the greatest jobs I have had has been a father to my two children, Emily and Ian, and a grandfather to my grandson, Luke. They are the messages I shall send to a time I shall never see. I am big man with a big heart, but when I have something to say, I say it. I have a BBA in Management as well as an MA in Adult and Higher Education with a specialization in Counseling from Morehead State University in Morehead, KY as well as a Master in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. I spent 22 years as a psychotherapist mostly working with children and adolescents with behavior disorders. I am also a Juvenile Sex Offender Counseling Specialist .I am now retired due to health issues and restarted my writing as some thing to keep my mind sharp. I also do a weekly podcast as well as a YouTube channel where I discuss current topics of the day. I am also an amateur economist as well as an amateur political scientist.
