David Jones is a writer, artist, geek, and has been a gamer since birth. Born and raised in Southern California, David grew up the middle child with five other siblings; two brothers and three sisters. If the Jones family was The Brady Bunch, David is Peter.
David had always been interested in writing, but it wasn't until his senior year at CSUN studying animation that he discovered writing was the best way to express his ideas. Onyx The Half Hero Dragon, the first book he ever wrote, began as a short cartoon that turned into a video game, then a graphic novel, and finally, a novel. Of course he could teach master classes on procrastination, so when Onyx was late in its editing stage, the idea for The Rainblade came about and David pursued it. Onyx will be his second novel.
David Jones is a CSUN animation alumnus and lives in Southern California with his wife and daughter.
David is a host on Spilling Ink and Reel It In! on YouTube. He is a a writer/director at Corydon Film Productions, and a contributor to VGTribune.com.
