David graduated with honors from the University of Texas in 1982 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Since that time, David has designed and specified numerous products in a number of different industries including telecom, data communications, and railway signaling. The experiences from this work greatly influence his analytic techniques and writing style. For the last 35 years, David has been an ardent student of Bible prophecy. Throughout this time, David has been faithful in a number of local churches while serving in many roles. During this time, he found his primary gift was teaching. In 2002, God provided David insights into understanding the structure of the book of Revelation. Soon after, God impressed on David the need to pen a book to share those insights with others. Planning for this book started early in 2003. Before the writing could begin, God laid another burden on David’s heart: expand all descriptions to encompass as much prophetic data throughout the Bible as possible. This led David to put the entire Bible into a database and create database tools to help mine the extra data. Progress on this book was delayed by the intense work environment of a startup until it was forced to shutter its doors, a casualty of the telecom meltdown. David used the next 18 months to research, write, and rewrite the book while his job searches remained fruitless. Amazingly, once the book was ready for submission for publication, David immediately received a job offer. From David’s perspective, the results of this work were nothing short of astounding. Where David started with modest goals, he ended with book containing 1700 scripture references and countless new prophetic insights. Three in particular were so significant that they fundamentally changed his understanding of Bible prophecy. These were Jesus’ coronation, Matthew 25’s transitional roadmap for the millennial reign, and the importance of the wheat and tare harvest. Additionally, the research process forced David to reevaluate many prophetic conclusions that many teach and that David had taught as David believes that the Bible simply does not contradict itself. It is David’s assertion that apparent contradictions are due to false premises and lack of information. During the research process, David employed a scientific process where he would look at data to draw conclusions and continue a process of back checking, refining/rejecting, and retesting. After returning to work, David started working on visual aids for the book to help ease the process of assimilating the book’s information. The result of these activities were a timeline poster and quick reference featuring the artwork of Pat Marvenko Smith. When it came time for publication, David once again found himself unemployed. Again, David procured employment shortly after the publication process was complete. Since then, David has promoted the book through a number of book signings, church appearances, and speaking at various prophecy conventions. David is married to his high school sweetheart that he met while working at local restaurant. They are still married and their two sons have both been married for several years and working as engineers. David also served in the US Air Force for four years where he received a number of honors including airman of the year for the 443 MAW.
