Danny J Johnson SR was born in Austin, Texas in 1950 to parents who at the time of this writing have been married 66 years. I was the eldest of four children and have a sister and two brothers. I was raised in the country outside Pflugerville, Texas; graduating from Pflugerville High School in 1967. Learning small town country values from my parents and surrounding country neighbors and being a child of WW2 parents I was raised with a love of country and family. My values were formed around the importance of hard work, love of family and being a good neighbor. I attended Tarelton State College and Southwest Texas State University for three and one half years combined, never graduating. I spent 44 years of my life in the Roofing and Sheet Metal Construction business. I love to fish, hunt and occasionally play golf. I am an avid fan of Texas A& M University athletics and support Texas professional sports. Preaching and teaching Gods Word and writing Christian books are now my passion. I became a Christian at the age of 16; when on a date I went to the Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Austin, Texas for an evening service where the pastor preached on the Great White Throne Judgment. After receiving Christ that evening I was baptized the next Sunday. However my life has been no example of exemplary Christian living. My life has been a series of periods of hot to warm Christian service to even longer periods of cool to outright cold disservice to my Lord. Too often I have chosen poorly in life’s decisions, having turned my back on what I knew was right, to do that which I wanted. I have paid a terrible price for my disobedience; having had two difficult divorces that led to painful heartache and bitter consequences for my children, my ex-spouses and me. Though both failed because of poor choices by all of us, I certainly am a responsible party in each marriage’s failure. Iniquitous sinning is doing what we feel and want to do when we know it to be direct and willful disobedience toward God. God tells us that we reap what we sow sometimes a hundred fold. I certainly can and do attest to that as I have reaped a huge harvest of disappointments and grief from my poor choices. But even more importantly I can attest to the unbelievable Grace and Mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ whose love for His disobedient children is far greater than there are words to describe. The power in the blood that Jesus shed for the remission of our sins is more powerful and more everlasting than our sin and our rebellion as His children. Just like most earthly parents who have unruly children and have to discipline them, God too must discipline us when we misbehave. He does it for the same reason we discipline our children, because He loves us and knows that correction is needed to set us back on the right path. God has given us His son to carry our burden of sin and provide us a substitute who has paid the price God requires for our sin. When we choose to reject Jesus as the payment for our sin we then instead choose to face God as His enemy and as an associate of evil. We must face God in our sin and without the blood of Christ to cover us and make us clean before God. God sends no one to hell or the Lake of Fire because it is entirely our choice. Every knee shall bow and declare that Jesus is Lord; but some will bow on this side of death and declare Jesus Lord and Savior and many more will do so at The Great White Throne Judgment, but too late and they must suffer an eternity in The Lake of Fire. The choice is yours eternal Life with Jesus or Eternal death in isolation, regret and misery. But either way the choice is yours and yours alone. I am the father of four fine sons, three wonderful daughter in laws and six of the most precious grandchildren, two boys and four girls that God has ever blessed a man with. I now live with my wife Darlene in Donna, TX. God has blessed me with a faithful loving helpmate and companion.
