Dane Cramer was born in 1962, and grew up in rural Somerset County, Pennsylvania. He began writing in his youth, and published his first work; an introspective backpacking journal in 2007. Cramer has made available short theological essays that reflect his studies while serving as a pastor and jail chaplain.
