Hey readers! I'm D.L. Blade. I’ve always had a passion for creative writing, with a particular focus on poetry during my younger years. One night, after having a vivid dream, I was inspired to pick up a pen and write my debut novel, The Dark Awakening, which was published in 2018. I gave that series a nice little make-over that was then republished in 2023, and has since hit the Amazon's bestseller list. Initially, I focused on writing young adult fiction, but I’ve since shifted my focus to adult fantasy, paranormal, and dark romance. Through my stories, I’ll take you on a journey into a world of unconventional love, morally gray men, and villains who get the girl. When I’m not writing, I enjoy reading, spending time with my husband and two children, attending rock concerts, and exploring new restaurants in Denver. I dream of continuing to create exciting novels for my readers and taking them on a journey through the magical realms that spill from the pages of my books.
