Claire Lamont was born 'Claire Brown' in Leeds, Yorkshire UK. At 10 years she became an avid fan of 70's Bowie, which developed into spirituality, dimensions, dreams. Suppressed by her strict Catholic upbringing she would often visit the library after school and read books about lucid dreams, Tolkien, The Tibetan Book of the Dead and often felt completely alone in these interests at the time. Bowie's creative influence inspired Claire to express herself in her style of dress and dance. Often designing her own clothes and style, Claire 'stood out' from the crowd at the time, by being a creator of her own individuality.
