CJ Perry is sarcastic liberal nerd that played too much Dungeons & Dragons in his youth and never learned respect for authority or how to keep his opinions to himself. His writing comes from a life spent reading, playing, and loving fantasy in every form. Early inspiration came from such greats as Margaret Weis, Terry Goodkind, RA Salvatore, Terry Brooks, CS Friedman, and Stephen King. Their combined influence molded CJ Perry into a high fantasy author with an affinity for darkness. He is a proud father of two brilliant and fiercely independent daughters, and husband to a dedicated teacher. When he is not writing or helping a colleague in the indie author community, he can be found cleaning, making dinner, and spending time with family.
