Josh Donlan is a scientist by training, but works and writes outside of science with the goal of discovering, designing, and implementing new solutions to environmental and social challenges. Josh works across sectors and disciplines, with much of his work focused on integrating behavioral economics, finance, human-centered design, markets, science, and technology for organizations trying to solve problems. During the day, he runs the small organization Advanced Conservation Strategies. During his latest nights, Josh has been pondering the topic of his next book over a glasses of Rioja. He work was included in the Best American Scientific and Nature Writing of 2008 and he was highlighted in New York Times Magazines's Big Ideas of 2005. Josh lives in Park City, Utah and Cordoba, Spain.
