Brian retired from the United States Air Force (USAF) after proudly serving his country for over twenty-three years. As Distinguished Graduate from the United States Air Force Leadership School, he was given the additional honor to serve as Class Speaker. Brian also graduated in the top ten percent of his class while attending the United States Air Force Noncommissioned Officer Academy. His passionate essay work has been recognized by Time, Newsweek, Life, U.S. News & World Report and Reader's Digest. He attended the Community College of the Air Force and Ball State University. Since leaving active duty, he has been employed by Huntington Ingalls Industries (formally known as Northrup Grumman) where he currently leads a one-of-a-kind Department of Defense computer-network security team. His unswerving compassion for those who have served led him to become a driving force in the campaign to shed light on the disproportionate suicide rate among United States Veterans. One of his productions has been incorporated into an Air Force case study which will help to identify, and offer treatment to, veterans in need. Through his travels, Brian has gleaned a rare understanding of peoples and cultures around the world which prompted him to pen his well-received book, “Lessons Learned.” Brian and his lovely wife Tiffany are extremely proud of their beautiful family.
