Barbara Arnold Linkous creates American stories with real history and fictional characters inspired by her ancestors' lives in the Appalachian Mountains. Barbara is proof that it is never too late to follow your dream. At an early age, God gifted her with imagination and the ability to share her stories. Since childhood, she has dreamed of writing. But life happens, and time slips away. Only after retirement did she find the determination to make her dream a reality. Her Life on Bay’s Mountain Series has three books, including Cora's Story, Murrell's Story, and Sarah's Story. (Sarah's Story eBook can be preordered, and both paperback and eBook will be released May 1, 2024) She is passionate about sharing her belief in the power of prayer and has crafted a simple devotional to help the reader begin praying. Words Attitudes Actions is inspirational and includes short messages and scriptures written to help the reader start with prayer. Barbara grew up in northeastern Tennessee, where she still resides. She is the middle child of seven raised in a preacher's home. She is a proud wife, mother, and grandmother of seven.
