Anne Treimanis, Esq., is an attorney, author, university professor, disability rights activist and mother of four. Attorney Treimanis’ law practice is focused on students with disabilities who have been denied an appropriate education. She presents nationally and internationally on special education legal rights – including Poland, the Netherlands, Latvia, and India. Treimanis is an adjunct professor at the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford, CT, teaching graduate classes in Special Education Law. Her daughter Ieva, who lives with Down syndrome and Type One Diabetes, is a proficient reader. Ieva was fully and successfully included in her local HS: Yep, she even took Algebra!
