Amy Wachspress has a master’s degree in English Language and Literature and she is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist. She is the author of the children/young adult fantasy adventure The Call to Shakabaz and the sequel Changing the Prophecy; and the author of the adult novels Memories from Cherry Harvest (historical fiction) and Guardians of Water (ecological speculative fiction). She and her husband raised their three children on 40 acres of remote forest in Northern California. They now live in the Pacific Northwest near their grandchildren.
