LaCava grew up in 1960s Texas. She has always loved history, and JFK's assassination imprinted her sense of identity early on. After marrying a Dallas man, the plentiful works of local historians and researchers piqued her curiosity about the truth behind Camelot and it's end. LaCava studied journalism at UNT and later on, during fiction studies at SMU, she invented a family impacted by the assassination and its cover up. Through those characters she explores how the still unsolved murder imprinted the nation. LaCava and her husband laugh a lot. They are blessed with grown children who are wonderful humans, and two grandsons who also love stories of other times. Her agreeable muses are two rescued mutts, and she is inspired by their affection and devotion, but readers make better conversation. To learn more visit http://adriennelacava.com
