I shouldn’t have let him blackmail me.
Now look at us.
Nicole:
I couldn’t believe it when my mom married Wolfe Knight’s dad. He’s the school bully, and he’s my best friends ex. He destroyed her, and I can’t stand him. But then he discovers a secret of mine, and I’m at his mercy.
He’s brutal.
Yet beautiful.
He’s also off limits.
Wolfe: I have no time for women unless they’re doing something for me. Even then I’m bored. So when Nicole Harrington moves into my world, I decide to make her life hell. Her dirty little secret gives me ammunition to control her in as many ways as I can, and I intend to.

Loved it

It was a bit unbelievably, this is a very dark HS bully romance, step siblings fuckery, the narrators for the most part sound like grown adults and not teenagers but let’s move on. The angst, mistakes, misunderstandings, some sex and so much more keep you invested and ready for more and you get that and then some.
It does end with a HFN after all this is HS so what do you expect, not the storybook HEA this is not that! But we have three more characters/friends to read about so let’s hope their storylines are no longer in HS.
Is it worth a credit? For me it’s a no only because I’m not into HS stuff but it’s actually pretty good and if you don’t mind their young age certainly give it a chance.

Bully romances aren’t usually my thing, but LINZVONC pulls you so deep into Wolfe and Nicole's world that you can't help but get tangled up in it. Wolfe is not cruel for the sake of it-- he’s a product of his own wreckage. His moral compass is completely wrecked, yet the cracks show when it comes to Nicole. His obsession doesn’t turn him into a hero, but it does make him human, and that’s where LINZVONC sinks the hook.
One thing that truly helped elevate this story was the incredible performances by JF Harding and Avery Caris. These two are easily among my favorite voice actors, and here, they absolutely brought their A-game. They gave Wolfe and Nicole both the heat and the heart needed to make their connection feel real, even when the story itself leaned heavily into darkness. Their chemistry is electric, their emotion razor-sharp, and they breathe fire into every page.
Still, I’ll be honest - my biggest struggle with stories like this is the setting. High school students operating with this level of darkness and emotional manipulation stretches believability for me. It’s extreme fiction, and it requires you to suspend reality to fully dive in. But if you can accept that and roll with it, WOLFE is a wild, relentless ride.
Despite my usual hesitations, I’m locked in. LINZVONC has created something raw, messy, and completely addictive and I’m definitely in for the rest of the Archer High series.
Deliciously dark and twisted
