The Inquiry is a languidly paced story chronicling the events leading up to the beginning of a roommates with benefits arrangement. The story and characters have an authenticity that makes this an enjoyable audiobook. Primarily during the exposition segments, the narration was a little stiff and uneven, but it picked up during the erotic portions.
