Loved

Paige is moving back to Boston single and jobless and no clue where to go other than she wants to finish school. High school hottie and now NHL star, Carson, just so happens to need a roommate and her friends set her up to be that person. The reason why is not as expected but also makes you swoon so hard for Carson.

These two clearly have an attraction and their banter is just amazing as is the tension. And the tension is high!

Fake dating and sports romance combined was setting this book up to be fantastic. I also listened to the audio which was in DUET format and I was obsessed. I love hearing the characters have a convo with each other. It makes it feel more real and like your apart of it. The narrators were amazing! This definitely made for a day of a LOT of driving so much more enjoyable.

The ending….

I loved so much of this story, but I feel like the ending was kind of a let down. There was so much put into this story for the ending to be as rushed as it felt. I loved everything up to that point, while I’m happy with how it ended, I wish it had been drawn out a bit so the readers could experience it more. Overall a great story and I loved the narrators, definitely worth the listen, just fell a little flat for my personal taste at the end!

Second chances

An exciting storyline filled with growth and turmoil, which Roxanne is well known for in her books. The excitement included within this audio was riveting, breathtaking, and passionately executed! My only complaint was the narrator for Paige did absolutely nothing for me and definitely did not “fit” Carson.

For me, this was somewhat of a reverse grumpy/sunshine story, with the female being the grinch per say. Carson is struggling with his own issues, while I felt she added to at times. Either way, this is a must read/listen!

Perfection!

Everything was perfect, from the storyline to the characters, even to the narrators. This book hands down sits at the top of my audiobook review list!

Loved this one

I listened to this in audio. The Narrators did an excellent job being in character. The story was great and showed how people are affected by others'actions. It shows us how even though we are making decisions so that we can get a desired outcome we could possibly hurt ourselves and others by being selfish. I have been happy with every book I have read by this author and would recommend her to anyone.
