In my opinion, this one was better than the 1st book, but not as good as the 2nd book in the series. Stellan and Sixx are both used to holding the upper hand in the playroom. He is a Master and she is a Mistress. Stellan realizes he cannot just sit back and let Sixx slip through his fingers like he did with Amelie so he decides to let Sixx know he has feelings for her and he intends to win her over.

Stellan was strong, smart, kind, loving and determined on owning Sixx. He displayed amazing control, patience and understanding on how he needed to handle the situation with Sixx. Sixx was one tough cookie to crack. Her heartbreaking past was devastating and her survival instincts and coping mechanisms made her into the woman she is today. There were times I was frustrated and I wanted to shake some sense into her as she kept trying to hold onto that part of her to try and protect Stellan from herself, but thankfully Stellan was able to break through in the end. When he realized he needed to let her take control at times and he be her sub; my heart melted for him even more. They mastered the equal divide so they were both able to stay true to themselves as far as still being Master and Mistress in the playroom. I loved that, it felt honest and real.

Overall, I thought it was a good wrap up to the series and I cannot wait to see what happens with Diesel, Maddox and Molly in Loose Ends. I think those 3 may have been one of my favorite parts of this book; as well as Ami.

As far as narration; I didn't really care for it. The voices she used kind of annoyed me; especially for Sixx. Her normal voice while she just read was the only decent voice. Plus, it's read in 3rd person and I prefer 1st person POV.

I absolutely love love the push & pull of strengths of will in thisone. Also sexy hot 🔥 I highly recommend this series and study there were more. I would love a book about the poly couple.

Once again, KA writes well developed, intricate characters. The story line was intriguing. The narrator was good, but perhaps too soothing. I didnt get enough of a sense of tension as I have with some of her other books: it just didn't have the gut wrenching moments I have come to expect. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing some of her other characters throughout the book and hope she plans to develop some of the ancillary characters from this storyline.

Each book had me excited for next. Great Read for anyone wanting something alluring and spicy. Romance is around every corner.

I love everything by Kristen Ashley and this book is no different. Her characters are so deep and complex a listener can't help but be pulled in. The narrator for this series Was perfect and I could listen to her forever.

I'm going to miss these characters

I love Kristen Ashley, but I was not so sure about the Honey series. I waited until the 3rd book was released, then listened to them all back to back. I'm not generally into books with a Domme as the female lead, but the entire series was great. The Greatest Risk ended the series and was my favorite.

This purchase is a ‘Great Risk’ - not up to KA’s usual eloquent writing style; I love her books, this one was a major disappointment for me.

I am a great KA fan. Ive read all her books. This was a good story line when Six background came out, but the the story with her and Stellan was too simple and predictable
Their was alot of sex but I want the storyline. I cant wait to hear what is happening with Cameron. I was a little board wth this book, but I really read the next and all her books even if i read them over and over.
