If you could sum up Tears of Tess in three words, what would they be?

Dark, intense, and suspenseful

Who was your favorite character and why?

Q. I loved him. Yes he was dominating and at times borderline cruel but once you get a glimpse into his past you understand him a bit more.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to Jacob Morgan before and he is one of my favorites. I enjoyed his french accent (It might not be the best but it was better than what I imagined in my head when I read the book) and wish he would have carried on with it all the way through. The last couple of chapters I feel like he just gave up which is a shame because it really added to the story. This was my first time listening to the female narrator but I enjoyed her narration as well.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes it was! I would listen to the whole series back to back if I could. I will be impatiently waiting for the others to be on audio.

Any additional comments?

Just want to give a heads up that there are no Australian accents even though the main character Tess is Australian. I was a bit disappointed at first but once I come to terms with that I thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook.

That was the best and most intense book I have heard!!! So dark if you are not into that. But Jacob Morgan’s voice will definitely make you want to!!!

This book is so many things. The best way to describe it is a disturbing erotic depiction of a twisted love story. Two confusingly strong characters who refused to back down from each other. Fair warning... It's dark and dirty and not for the faint at heart. There are situations that may be a trigger for some, but if you're not easily triggered, it's guaranteed to be an entertaining read. The story certainly kept my attention from the first page to the last.

Really enjoyed this book. Definitely a dark book and has many uncomfortable moments but pepper winters is such an amazing writer she sucks you into the story from the beginning. The narrators were perfect! Recommend but know it has many dark subjects.
