Publisher's summary

A social experiment (a scary but exciting concept): marry a total stranger, live together for six months, and journal everything.

Feelings. Fights. All of it.

After six months, we each get $50,000 in exchange for our journals, whether we stay married or not. But the goal is to commit to the experience and see if the relationship experts could put together the perfect matches.

I have never been lucky in love. This was my chance to find my soulmate. I couldn't wait to meet the man the experts felt was perfect for me. My hopes were immediately dashed when I saw him at the altar. I married my worst nightmare. Right?

Contains mature themes.

Not As Intense As The Others In The Series....

….but still an AWESOME story!

All I can do is ditto all the other positive reviews. I liked Talon because he was a happy confident person who wasn't broken or scared which was a refreshing change. I loved his teasing personality. The only negative for me was, this story's plot wasn't as captivating or as intense as Storm's, Vandal's or Lukas's story but was still well worth the time and credit. Can't want to see what Carian Cole brings to audio next! ….

OPPOSITES DO ATTRACT & THE DELICIOUS PROOF IS HERE

Every time I listen to one of these fantastic books in the A & E series I think "this is the best one"... and then Carian Cole releases another and, again, I end up saying the same thing to myself. But this time she surpassed herself (and my high expectations) by giving her fans the final memorable book in the series.... Asia and Talon's love story.

Talon is a long haired Rocker, he's a tattooed, sexy manwhore whose 11" manhood has every Groupie panting for him - but Talon has become disillusioned, dissatisfied and empty with the 'same shit different day' scene that his life is and longs for a change. That change comes when he signs up for a Social Experiment in matching couples together and the first time they get to see their mysterious partner is at the alter and the first words they say to each other are the marriage vows. Talon is eager and excited to meet the tall, sexy, curvaceous, bubbly busty blonde that he requested - but that soon morphs into shock as he sees his small, brown haired, mousy, nervous and intimidated bride walking slowly and shakily towards him.

Asia had been through Hell in her life, everyone always ended up leaving her but she is a survivor and has worked hard for everything she got. Her supportive best friend had convinced her that this Experiment would change her life... and she wasn't wrong - but not in the ways they'd hoped. Because she'd just married a total stranger, a long haired tattooed sex starved giant and that was so not what she'd been hoping for. They both realized it was a terrible mistake and it was never going to work out but agreed to give their marriage the expected 6 months to see if the 'Experts' may just somehow of got the pairing right.

And what followed was a slow and tender voyage of discovery, the shattering of pre-conceived expectations of what they both thought they wanted in, and from, a partner and the experience of falling in love. Unfortunately this journey took them on very choppy waters at times too but together they sailed through them with understanding, great banter, tenderness, humor, fun and friendship... as well as a marriage consummation that was a long time in err coming! But, it wasn't all plain sailing - like so many love stories before this, Asia and Talon's love was going to be tested in the most heartbreaking of ways.

Worth a credit? I get sooo frustrated when a book from a much loved series slips through undetected by me as this one did - however the excitement and anticipation soon drowns that feeling out and straight away I was hooked by two loveable characters who were thrown together, tried to make the best of it, eventually succeeded and reaped the rewards of a very HEA ending. This listen was also filled with good supportive secondary characters and a very sweet adorable cat. I was not only entertained by this well narrated dual POV listen... I was mesmerized too.... so creditworthy - Hell YEAH.

I have to say I just love this book well done to the author this epic love story is so good makes me want to have something like that but ja love like that only happens in vary tale's. The other thing I have to say is n just don't think a man should do a woman's voice it just didn't soud right but still loved it all the way

My favorite in the series, I love Talon, Asia...

I love Talon,! Asia, not so much, she is whiny and a control freak and the dominant in the relationship and a tease. Talon, is a Viking God! He is sweet, understanding, patient and not perfect, it is the combination of his flaws that make him so great, he has a learning arc and a revelation. The post-it notes, the top hat, the wooing at the end, the cupcakes, I love him. I would have waited to have sex with my new husband, not as long as Asia because she is a tease but that is not why I fault her. She showed her dominance when she could not kiss him at the alter [ I would have done that, wedding pictures are forever], in the first 30 minutes in the bridal room [ you can't drink] and frankly her self-esteem seemed totally in tact during the entire book. There is no such thing as a submissive dominant, listening in on his chat with the good doctor and looking at his journal, she got what she desreved, You want respect, you need to give respect. When I started to love Asia was after .... spolier alert... after Talon left, she stayed loyal and got him the real help he needed, that was my love Asia time. Talon I thought he was wrong to leave after their intense sex session the night before, that should have killed her self-esteem. I have read the Storm books. the Torn book was a little twisted for me in the premise, so I passed on that one, I tend to like light hearted, sexually charged and hea endings. Its about the journey to the hea, I liked this journey and I hope that Carian will go back to the Team and share the other couples stories, I love the concept of the experimental marriage.

Another killer Carian Cole

So let me start out by saying both of these narrators were new to me. Elizabeth Hart’s tempo took some getting g used to but in the end it added so much to the story for me. I loved this book.
