Narrator was very good, as always. The story line was darker than the other books from the Commander, but it did end with a happy ending. "I was given this audiobook in exchange for an honest review"

Good but short!
This was a good short fun book, the narration had no issues and did a good solid performance, the story was fun (maybe went a little overboard on the talking in olden time for my taste) my only real downside is if there is more I would hope for something a bit longer.

Highly recommended
If anyone is a fan of CJB I highly recommend this book, it is in my humble opinion his best work so far. I have almost 400 titles in my library and this book ranks in the top 10 for originality, content, and excellent narration by C Alan Kelly. I plan on looking for additional books that he has narrated.

The best kind of magic!
A deliciously and imaginative story. It’s definitely a way to warm things up a bit when there’s blizzards keeping you in! Highly recommend!
