This is my second time reading this book. However, this time I amped up my reading by following along with the audio. Let me tell you, it was a magical experience. The narrators absolutely killed this. High, highly recommend.

I loved how badass Ryan’s character is! It's refreshing to read a book where the fmc is just as ruthless as the males if not more! Performance was amazing too!

I went into this blind and it turned out to be one of the best audiobooks I’ve ever listened to. It had me enthralled from the beginning and kept me entertained all day! Strong female lead who embodied ‘badass’ and a male lead just the same who supports her bloodthirst. Action, hot sex and suspense! Perfect! I am excited to continue the series.

Obsessed to say the least. I’m a sucker for a good MC book, but this one takes it to another level. We’ve got a badass Latin goddess, Ryan, and then we’ve got the tough cinnamon roll simp, Gunner. Their chemistry was IMMEDIATELY, & I was here. 👏🏼 for. 👏🏼 it. 👏🏼🔥 I did immersive reading where I listened to the audiobook while reading along on my Kindle, & that takes the reading experience up a notch. The narrators did amazing including all the accents, banter, & spice. Loved learning about the Mexican culture & especially the side characters (can’t wait for their stories!) 😍 Will definitely continue with the rest of the series with Syndicate of Sins next! 🙌🏼❤️‍🔥🖤💙💚

Ryan, is the point of contact for Los Muertos Cartel.
She's a strong female who know how to handle themselves and don't take any shït from misogynistic men. Gunner is the Sargent of Arms of the Skeletons of Society Motorcycle Club. He want things done right. He is always right. When he is told he had to help Los Muertos with their arms deal he knows he's going to have his hands full. They are supposed to be partnering in business only but they are drawn to the darkness is their souls. When Gunner and Ryan eventually get romantic it is hot and filthy in the best ways. I loved the hilarious banter. And not just between the mains but also the side characters. Dex is the demented psycho golden retriever you can't help but love and Nikki is the "take no shit, ride or die for life bestie Ryan deserves.
