Nothing will ever compare to Butcher and Blackbird for me. It’s my favorite all time book. And I truly did not enjoy Leather and Lark. This book was better. The narrators are awesome. They did fantastic. I do miss Joe Arden. I thought the plot for this book was drawn out. But it was still good. BUT THE EPILOGUES! They were everyyything 💕💕💕💕💕

Nothing about this book I didn’t like. The emotional connection that they had was well written and there friendship was beautiful

Perfect book for the end of the trilogy!! So sad it’s come to an end but Rose and Fionn’s story was so much fun 🧡

The entire trilogy had you going through every emotion. Each character feeling real, and the dark romance part was so detailed and exquisite! Easily some of the best I've read!

This was another perfect read by Brynne Weaver. I loved this third book in the trilogy just as much if not more than the first two. The humor is outstanding, the plot is captivating, and you can't help but to love the characters. The narrator's voice is an accents are perfect for the characters. I love how the characters from the first two books are brought back at the end of this one. I really wish another one was coming.

Fionn is the doctor running from a past/ broken heart and Rose a circus performer with a taste for revenge are brought together when Rose is found needing help after doing what she does best "murder"
Nothing can change the path they've been set upon?So reader's enjoy their story... I sure did... Enjoy!

This was a fabulous ending to a fabulous series! I love this book! Rose and Fiorne are amazing!

Page clenching, feet kicking, giggles bursting into all out laughter, and tears with smiles. The story line depth, the inner turmoil of both MMC/MFC, and the emotions evoked while reading this book were enough to make this my first 5 star read of 2025.
I read and listened along, a recommendation given to me and I would suggest others do if they can. The pairing of audio and written word does intensify the experience. It’s not often I reread series, in truth only 4 have made it to that list, these will mark the fifth.
In this world it feels like Brynne Weaver shows us what happens when someone who’s closed up and only see’s gray finds someone who’s living wide open and can’t seem to stop painting over all that gray with colors and vivid life. The story of Rose and Fionn to me isn’t complex in their feels towards one another, more a denial and situations that push for them both towards a different type of growth and that to me is beautiful. The phrase panting with words often comes up and I feel that Brynne Weaver has done that justice for Rose and Fionn and I have been truly grateful to have gone on their journey.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Reading these books, for me has been therapeutic. Odd to say yes I know but a few key elements, some in this book particularly hit cords with me. The reading in the audio truly did bring life and the work you put behind these characters showed in your deliveries.
I look forward to the next adventure Brynne Weaver will write but these will hold a special place in my heart and on its own book shelf.

On to the next!
