Publisher's summary

Forced to grow up too fast, Liam Cavanagh, carries the burdens of responsibilities that shouldn't be his, and it's slowly destroying him. The more he tries to control, the more out of control he feels. When he gets a hit on a personal ad he placed, he shrugs it off as impossible. With nearly 600 miles between him and Daddy Cash he thought the odds were stacked against them until Cash's current boy convinces him otherwise and persuades Liam to take on the role of Daddy's new boy.

Saying 40-year-old entrepreneur Cash Moreau is having a bad week is an understatement. The man he's been with for years leaves him for a new job, his own company is in crisis, and to top it all off, a young stranger shows up on his doorstep with all his worldly possessions, claiming to be his new boy. Liam wants a Daddy to depend on, and Cash refuses to believe he's what's best for Liam.

Despite their powerful connection, Cash finally pushes Liam away, and the beautiful boy who stole his heart disappears. Soon, Cash realizes what he's let slip through his fingers. Suddenly, Cash will move heaven and earth to find what he's lost.

Contains mature themes.

I usually like Phillip Alcess

Luna David did an amazing job writing this book! I loved the story and was super excited to listen to it, until I listened to it. The narrator did not do this book justice at all. There was no emotion put into the sex scenes, there was no differentiation in the voices. He didn't narrate this book, he just read the words out loud. And the sad thing is I usually like Mr. Alces! He did an amazing job on the Haven Hart series by Davidson King, so I was super excited to see he narrated this. Such a disappointment. Aiden Snow or Joel Leslie would have taken this book beyond the next level.

What A Mess

I love Liam and what he had gone through. He really needs Cash to be the person in charge. I also like Liam's sister and how he encourages him. There is so many missteps at the beginning of the story. There were times that I felt so frustrated with these guys. The really needed to learn to communicate and be honest with each other.
I listened to the audio version which was very enjoyable.

OMG

Oh my ... I read this book a few years ago, and never really got hooked on it. The story is good. Even if we meet a few people that should get their own books too... hopefully one day.
I did never think to check if this one had audio. Until recently when someone suggested it to me ... and OMG!
If there ever is a narrator with the perfect “Daddy voice” it’s Philip Alces! Absolutely a narrated masterpiece!

Wasn't as perf as I wanted it to be but still good

I'm sad. Because i loved this book so much when i read it last year and I had high hopes for the audiobook...but sadly it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be.

The narrator was new to me, but his voice was really good, i liked listen to it, but he didn't changed his voices when other characters were on display. And this is the biggest mistake in my opinion. I want to separate the voices, i want to feel them. Cash and Liam's voice were so alike, but they are not supposed to be. Liam is young and I mean he plays young too, while Cash is older and a Daddy!
I need their voices to be different. And you can say me it was different... yeah, not the same same voice, but not so much different. You know what I mean, what I want to say?

But the story and the book is still one of my favorite, i just wouldn't listen to the audio again and that's a sad thing because i love listenint to favorite books...

That was smokin’ hot 🔥🔥🔥

I didn’t think I’d like daddy kink but Luna David made me a believer. Now I hope there will be a book 3!

A definite re-listen

5 Blue Roses
5 Blue Flames

Narrator Philip Alces gives a stunning performance with his rich and smoky hot voice.
I can listen to him for hours. I felt like pushing my earbuds deeper and deeper into my ears.
I couldn't get enough of this audiobook. This was by far the best Luna David audiobook of the year and the hottest boy-daddy kink I've heard in a long time.

The narrator/author duo just worked. We kick off with a tongue hanging out and panting start of boy-daddy kink series.
Between Davey's Rules by Susan Hawke and this audiobook it seems it's going to be the year of the Daddy's.

Excluding the erotica, we still have a strong plot with lots of angst and twists and turns giving us something to enjoy and to cool down between the extremely hot sex scenes. I loved the detailed and true explanation about recovery and alcohol addiction. It wasn't just played down in one or two sentences, but rather the true and honest depiction of the journey Liam's mom had to take. The best kink scene for me was Cash and Liam's first roll-play scene when Liam played he is Nicky.

I definitely recommend this audiobook for those who love a big age gap BDSM book about boy-daddy kink. This my proclivity as well, and I don't feel guilty at all.

Happy Listening

Amazing audio!

Let Me In is a book I frequently revisit and plan to relisten to it a lot. The story of Cash and Liam is beautiful, heartbreaking (at times) and very sexy! Phillip Alces did a fantastic job bring this book to life.
