I am not one of those that believes in everything needing warnings. In fact, I am one of those that think if you need a warning for everything in life to remind you to prepare yourself that sometimes life is tough, then the problem lies with you, not the person who did not warn you. So, with that in mind, let me just say... take the warnings at the beginning of this book to heart. There isn't much that I read that bothers me but in this book there were a couple of times... I'm not gonna lie, my stomach rolled. You have been warned.
Now that I have that out of the way, this is a new author for me. I like the writing style. It's very easygoing, there's very little "caught up in the head angst" which I despise, and there is always something going on, always something moving the story forward. I never felt as if the story stalled. I did find it difficult to believe that a straightlaced, hidden from the world virgin as the MFC is would suddenly turn sex starved for 4 guys and love it, not to mention some of the very odd things they want to do. She doesn't even pause! She just goes along with everything. That didn't seem right. I could understand it if it was something she had been wanting to do, something she had been planning to do but it's not. She is forced into it which makes her acceptance all the more unbelievable. Beyond that and some of the ick factors in the story, it is a really good book so far and I'm looking forward to book 2. The narrators do a phenomenal job. I could listen to the male narrators read anything, I think, and love it. Their voices are so deep and resonate just right...*sigh*.
Be warned: this book ends on a cliffhanger! Of course 😉

her dad owed movie so he gave her to the Bratva as payment and her virginity to his son Nik

he is a ruthless mean asshole
Nik is trying to override him, so he can rule and change things for the better starting with hiding Iris from his father
he gives her the The Shadows, a gang group lead by Hunter
it hurts her to know that every man in her life has left her, her father did and sold her now her 1st love Nik by giving her to them
feelings and emotions start immediately when she lives with them and so does the sex
lots of sex, very hot
they all realize days later that she means a lot to each guy, they can't let her go, they fall in love with her
now she has 4 men fighting to keep her safe
Hunter even married her to protect her, no one goes against his gang but the Bratva tries
Nik even sneaks off to see Iris, the bathroom scene was hot, Nik fucking her while the Shadows watch and then Roman even helps her give him head
lots of Dom personalities
they will protect her
during the fake wedding night but real marriage night Hunter has Roman and Rowan hold her down while he fucks her hard he even pulls out her birth control so he can pregnant her, he will do anything to keep her
that might they all confess their love for each other
the Shadows are good men ish, they take care of the community but they sell drugs and steal cars from rich pricks to sell on the black market
that's how they can afford to do good for the people in their community
end of book the Bratva attack the Flat, or compound while they sleep and Rowan gets shot and Iris is taken, she gives herself to Sergi to protect the 3 men she loves
but way before the attack Sergi sent his son Nik away to Russia, Nik knew something was going to happen to The shadows and Iris but he couldn't warn them, but Hunter knew something was going to happen soon too but he was not prepared
lots of his crew where killed plus Sergi had his reason for living in his arms so he had no choice but to surrender for now
Sergi being the gross old pervert and asshole he is cuts Iris's clothes off making her naked and vulnerable to show his power to Hunter and his crew

I don’t even know why I finished listening to this audiobook. The FMC was a spoiled rich twat who had no clue what, or who she actually wanted. I get that it’s a why-choose, but for fuck’s sake, she didn’t have to act like she wanted everyone sticking it inside her (sorry for being crude, ladies and gents). There were a few sweet moments I liked, but overall, it was the most boring book I’ve read in a very long time. The smut felt clinical, the FMC and MMCs were immature, and the plot was practically nonexistent.

This book was great. I loved the story. I love where it was going. I think the only thing I didn’t like was all the unrealistic s*x, which is pretty typical in a book. But I do like where the story is going. I am going to get book two and hopefully it’s just as good as the first book it did revolve a lot around their relationship rather than what they were gonna do. I like how they were powerful but I feel like they should’ve been more powerful considering Nikolai said they could protect her and I hated the whole. It was only a week. I felt like they should’ve prolonged that part of the book felt like it should have been longer you know do the fast forward couple of months or even a month kind of go by thing because all of this happening in a week for an entire book was kind of crazy especially with them falling as hard as they did.
But overall good book. A lot of spice so if you like that. I can tell book 2 is going to be darker. I can’t wait to listen to that one

the premise of this story had and has a lot of potential. I do wish the author had spent more time building the relationships. I know they fall for eachother quickly, but more detail could have been put into their relationships. it could have been more slow burn even though it was only like a week that they knew eachother. instead its, 1 look, insta love and boom, banging everyone. you feel more the love and longing between Iris and Nikolai because you know they have history and have known eachother a long time. but the others? I get it, they are hot and kinky. this is a trilogy so there was time to really build out these relationships and get us emotionally invested. instead, so much time is spent on spice. I guess if that's the only reason you read these books then yes, you will love this book. if you want a little more emotional connection and feeling, you're not going to enjoy this as much. I honestly didn't really enjoy it that much until the last 2 hours. it is book 1 in a trilogy, so there is a cliffhanger. there was a little MM relationship between Hunter and Roman, but it felt very forced and there was no chemistry between those two characters. it shouldn't have been in there honestly. when it comes up you're kind of like, what? since when? honestly the brothers have more romantic chemistry than Hunter and Roman. the three of them are so much like brothers that to suddenly have two of them romantically linked seemed added in later on. like, the author was told this element needed to be in this book so she added in a few small references and scenes to fill a quota or something.

the narrators were amazing. accents were great and you could differentiate each character even if they were narrated by the same person (Lucas Webley is incredible with voices and accents). if the narrators hadn't been so good I would have DNF this book. I stuck it out and now im interested in the story.

Audible - narration is good, but so far no story or action. The men just use the girl for s*x usually all of them at the same time. Half way thru and I stopped the book. It starts like it wants bratva or gangster business, but no. Meh
