It had potential… but ending was just too far fetched. And the narrator’s voice was the biggest disappointment. Nails on a chalkboard.

Well the narrator was was good although his female vice was a bit on the annoying side and a bit grainy but not as bad as some others I’ve heard. The story itself was ok sex scenes were hot I found the storyline lacking and a bit hard to follow.

I have read this story awhile ago but just wanted to listen again. Soooo good! I forgot how good and with Thomas narrating made it even better! I highly recommend this story!

I didn’t enjoy the narrator as much as other readers. His lisp started feeling either fake or just got in the way of my ears. I found Karina to be rather dense considering her position as a prosecuting attorney. Maybe she just wasn’t developed enough. And the way it ended seemed completely unrealistic if not absurd and hilarious. Are they considered a throuple now? Is there a word for the group’s relationship?

This is my first Piper Stone book and my first experience with a Thomas Locklear’s narration but omg 🤤 not my last! I don’t hand out 5 stars freely, they must be undoubtedly earned through great writing and performance. This book checked all the boxes. #1 it was action packed from the 1st paragraph (this is where most books lose me by boring me with lots of details which I find could usually be squeezed in later instead of losing your audience in the 1st paragraph) #2 the plot was completely relatable and believable #3 and probably the most important one in a romance novel the sex scenes were panty drenching hot! Notice I said scenes as in plural! Holy cow! Usually there’s maybe one mind blowing great sex scene in a book (if we’re lucky) and the others are just blah and you tune out. Nope not with this book. Each one is scorching freakin hot!!! Add in Thomas’ dreamy alpha male voice and his talent for giving each character a unique accent, attitude, and/or voice you not only always know who’s talking but you can completely picture it all happening. This is where it’s important to be free of distraction because you may want some... uhhhh.... alone time.... or maybe some not so alone time 😎

Kept me interested throughout. Pretty steamy. Thomas Locklear did a good job narrating the meds accents.

I never leave reviews on books but this one had me reeling! From the get go, this book had me on the edge of my seat. It was full of action, suspense, and romance. The sex scenes were hot, but some of them dragged on a little too long for my liking, but that's just my personal taste. The ending blew my mind. Just when I thought all the drama was over that ending happened. Wow, just friggin wow!

loved the plot and story. the narrator lost his place several times and in chapter 8 read half the chapter twice. he has an horrible woman's portrayal also.

This was a good story. some lines were repeated in several parts of the book. I also think this needed a female narrator, the men’s voices are done well but not so much with the lady’s voice
