Mousy little Heidi is a wanna-be designer who works as nothing more than a glorified go-fer for one of the largest and most well-known companies in the world of fashion. When she accidentally stains CEO Mr. Kaiser's pants, she gets two things she didn't expect - a spanking and a job. Kaiser hires her as his assistant, and her "training" proves to be quite a test of surrender.

Warning: This title contains erotic situations, graphic language, spanking, domination, submission, and an office romance hot enough to leave handprints!

I enjoyed this story. I liked Heidi and her submissiveness though she had the power to bring Kaiser to his needs. I liked her friend Lenny who always looked out for her and had her best interests at heart even if he didn't agree with her. Kaiser was tough but Heidi had him and knew him better than he knew himself. I look forward to more books from this author.

Sexual abuse isn't sexy or romantic to me. And basically pimping her out, real classy. Maybe I just don't get the degradation, beating, pain, humiliation and forced acts. Is crying, begging for mercy, screaming no and whimpering in pain really considered a part of a pleasurable experience? Everything this guy put her through made me loathe him. There is no balance of affection or respect.

not my thing

It seemed a little immature in the writing and lacked a good storyline in the beginning. It got better late in the book.

The story was not a new one and closely resembled The Secretary, but it had nuances that kept me intrigued. However, the narrator was a horrible choice. I had to force myself to listen to the audio after about thirty minutes. I'd had enough but refused to give in since I'd paid for the book. I was actually watching to see how much longer I'd be listening as it progressed. Instead of hating to see the time counting down, I was glad. I hate to be mean about it, but.. the narration truly made the book feel amateurish.

Who chose the narrator??
