Publisher's summary

Leaving everything behind to move to England was difficult enough, but when I catch the attention of Alstone High’s bad boy for all the wrong reasons, things go from bad to worse.

He resents my position as the soccer team’s MVP, and that isn't even the worst part.

He’s figured out my secret.

He knows I want him, and he hates me for it.

But I can see right through Kian Courtland, and I’ve figured something out. Something that he won’t even admit to himself.

His secret?

He wants me, too.

Steamy M/M Romance

Cross the Line by Becca Steele is a short M/M novella.

Preston has recently moved to England from America. Joining the school’s soccer team, he soon catches the attention of Kian, the school’s bad boy. What starts out as enemies soon turns into more when Kian discovers Preston’s secret.

This is a quick enjoyable M/M romance.

Narration by Gregory Salinas was spot on and brought this story to life. Great narration of accents and overall depiction of characters and emotions.

Cross the Line

Short and sweet! I recommend reading Trick Me Twice first, as this one seems more like a companion to that. This was a sweet love story that while meant as an enemy to lover trope didn't feel very angsty at all. I really enjoyed it. These two guys together are just sweet. Love how they support each other. Definitely worth your time to listen!

A great, hot short!

The range of Gregory Salinas never ceases to amaze me. He flows in and out of accents easily and this is a perfect example. I love this short, listened to it all in on sitting. The heat and chemistry is potent, the characters leap off the page and you feel so much for both guys. Love this universe so much.

Been waiting for this to go audiobook 😁 It's a standalone but is part of Trick Me Twice. Hot little MM denial romance between 2 jocks 😏

Cross the Line

I had the amazing opportunity to listen to an advanced audio version of this book. This is a MM enemies to lovers high school romance. It is set in the same world as Becca Steele's The Four series. It also takes place in the same timeline as Trick Me Twice. I loved getting to see more of Kian and Preston. I really enjoyed this book. Gregory Salinas did an absolutely incredible job narrating this book.

devoured it!

I've only read a few MM romances and even though this story was short and sweet I loved every minute of it! meeting Kian in Trick me Twice I was kinda iffy starting this story because I wasn't his biggest fan. but after reading this I honestly can't get enough of him and Preston. I devoured this story in one sitting and wish I could have more of these two.
The voice for the audio was just perfect!

Great M/M New Adult High School Sports Romance

This is a great standalone M/M New Adult High School Sports Romance. Kian and Preston's enemies to lovers is sweet and steamy. Their relationship is passionate and beautiful. I liked the low angst. The supporting characters are great. The brotherhood in this story is amazing. Gregory Salinas did a great job with the narration.

Kian and Preston are just 🔥🔥🔥

Although this is Becca’s shortest M/M book, it isn’t any less addicting. I absolutely love the narration done here. It brings their story to life in totally different ways than I did in my head. You got Kian and his bad boy vibes 🥵 and pretty boy Preston able to tame the bad boy?! I mean definitely can’t get any better than that! I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve listened to it. Just love it so much.

So short

I am not used to getting such short listens by Becca Steele. It was easy to listen to in one sitting. It's a full standalone romance, well written, mostly sexy time but had some substance that helped us see who Kian and Preston were as individuals. I loved Preston's parents. There was some light in the darkness.

Gregory Salinas is a favorite narrator of mine. His voice is so deep. His performance was well done!
