I am loving this series!! After reading Claimed by the Orc Emperor, I was so hoping for Kai's story and it did not disappoint! It's a good thing that Nash is a true believer in finding his mate because Kai does not take to falling into a new world very well... and having Nash tell him they're mates... definitely not! I loved the back and forth between Nash and Kai, the tension, but also the inevitable pull of the mate bond between them. I also listened to the audiobook which did such a good job of bringing the story and emotions to life!! This is such a good series and I can't wait to read the next book!!

The narrator did a great job handling this book. It spicy and adventurous. It’s also so very funny. I loved every second of the book and the narrator really brought the story to life.

So I adore Nash and Kai. Their story is sweet and funny. The narrator did a great job switching between characters.

Kai is one of the most hilariously cute characters I've read. The voice performance is so on point that makes the story even more enjoyable. So happy I have it now in my collection.
