Publisher's summary

Morning Glory Milking Farm was just another quick tug-machine operated facility, no different from all the rest. Sure, they had big pharma money and special hands-on amenities the other milking joints couldn't boast, but at the end of the day it was the same old story—cash he didn't actually need in the bank, all for doing what he would have done for free anyway. Get in, get out, get on with his day. At least, that's what he thought.

Rourke doesn't know why he's so drawn to a particular milking tech . . . he doesn't know anything about her, after all. Not what she looks like without a mask concealing her face, not even her name. He only knows he can't stay away.

He wasn't looking for love, but it managed to find him in most unlikely of places, and now he's determined to prove that you can teach an old bull new tricks.

Fall in love all over again with Violet & Rourke's romance . . . from the other side of the milking table.

Contains mature themes.

Minotaur angst

Performance: Mr Duran had the perfect voice for Rourke. I could totally picture a pants wearing Minotaur having that voice

Story: This is the alternate POV from MGMF and you really need to have read/listened to MGMF to appreciate this. Rourke had much more angst that I would have expected. He also has a dry sense of humor that was much appreciated. This was a fun story and I would recommend it.

It's always a joy to revisit Cambric Creek

Coming off of the heels of Moon Blooded Breeding Clinic puts Rourke under an entirely different kind of spotlight. This is a DRAMATIC man! It's hilarious when he gets in his head about everything. The narrator did a great job. With Rourke's voice, and everyone else's voices!!

I'm still shocked that I almost teared up when they met at the coffee shop. Rourke had been trying to engineer a meet cute there for awhile, and then it happens. It's so exciting. And the whole thing goes sideways before Rourke can even get settled into the reality of being in the same place. It's just as devastating from Rourke's perspective. One of the most effective miscommunications in recent history!

It's always a joy to revisit Cambric Creek, and it was just what I wanted this holiday season. I'm so glad to be able to do it with my eyes and ears now! We all just need to petition the studios to option the 12 season television series and it really will be a Merry Christmas! <3

Perfection!

This alternate POV for Morning Glory Milking Farm was such a treat. Troy Duran was perfect as Rourke. Rourke’s POV rounded out the story in a beautiful way. Looking forward to rereading the original now for fun.

Totally bingeable

I absolutely loved everything about this audiobook! I saw CM Nascosta’s insta post that the audio was available, immediately bought it, and listened allllll day 😍

I feel as thought I could listen to Rourke’s thoughts in Troy’s voice indefinitely 💜

Made me laugh!

Not a synopsis, or a reveal.

I listened to this after I heard the "Morning Glory Milking Farm," I was certain I could not enjoy this book nearly as much as the first book, I was wrong. I laughed so hard everyone in the house had to come see what was so funny. Mr. Duran was the perfect narrator, making this an adventure I not only wanted to take but so thoroughly enjoyed! His voice is so very alluring, and one I'd want to listen to if he were reading a chore list, but this was infinitely better.

The one frustration about this series, Cambric Creek..., I found was the total lack of connection between the audible books as a series. I only happened to notice it was a series because I not only listen to books but also read the printed versions. This book even in the printed version shows no connection at all which is unfortunate as it is the other half of the "Morning Glory Milking Farm"
While the printed versions in this series are connected better it is not complete. As book 3 in this series is connected to what at first glance is a stand alone book "Run, Run Rabbit". All of the above is to say all C.M. Narcosta's works should be read but also when is the next book coming out? Please, and Thank You. More Troy Duran too.

This series will forever be the best

I didn’t know I could cry laugh while listening to a minotaur think about sex. I love MGMF and this book is no different. I could read 100 books about Violet and Rourke and never get tired of it.

A Sexy and Sweet PoV Shift

This book was different enough from Morning Glory Milking Farm to be compelling. Plenty of new scenes to contribute to the love story instead of just re-hashing the ones from the previous book. Rourke was so sweet and sexy, and I loved hearing his side of the story. The narrator was top notch, the perfect person to give voice to a bossy, lovestruck Minotaur.

Fantasticly detailed experiences but lacking in story

While I enjoyed the book, the entire thing reads like one run-on sentence. There is zero premise so starting out it makes zero sense. No questions get answered and we jump locations and conversations all in one breath with zero warning. Would love if it was fleshed out abit more. The scenes are steamy but you never get invested because none of the characters are fleshed out.

Does Rourke even like Violet?

I love key loved MGMF. I don't care that Rourke is a Minotaur. Who cares? It was great. No shame in my game. I was so psyched that he had a book coming out. And I was more psyched that Troy Duran was doing the audio, so I waited for that.

So of course Troy's performance was perfect. No fault there whatsoever.

But what a way to ruin a great character. He's just a h*rny dude who thinks about the technician who does the great hand j*bs. And when she's not doing his milking, he's fantasizing about other women. Including his ex-wife (gross).

He does treat Violet well but I'm glad his neighbor was finally like, make sure you actually like her and aren't just with her because you love the idea of love.
Which, I'm not sure what he actually likes about her, besides the hand j*bs. He never says.

This book should have been an hour at most

The narrator really tried to save it but there's only so many times you can here how the MC intends to be intimate with the female lead. There is no real story here, it got really repetitive and boring after the first hour :-(... I liked the first book well enough but this just didn't cut it
