My first Gargoyle!

A fun and spicy introduction to Gargoyles! I’ve always loved Naomi Lucas’ work, and I’m excited to see what else Mel Braxton has to offer!

Different and fun

I was intriguing from the beginning, steamy start that lead to a complex story, world build, that lures you in, good and bad guys fighting to protect the earth realm, a lot of emotion, my hear did broke a little at the and but all worth it in the epilog. I didn't like the robotic thinking(monolog) of the gargoyle in female voice, could have made it more fun, but it's a tinny subjective though. Overall, great story, and worth the time.

the female narrator's voice did not help because it was like listening to Bernadette from The Big bang theory.. just squeaky and annoying..
I didn't find a gargoyles delight as good as book 2 the scarecrows Queen.. yes, I read them backwards, well, listened..
The story just didn't grab me.. it was okay.. and the fact that it seemed to be very easy to get rid of the villain..
it was meh ..

Refreshing new take on Gargoyles

I really enjoyed reading this book. I am a Naomi Lucas fan regardless and so had high expectations. The authors put a new spin on a gargoyle and the relationship development is adorable. I recommend this book to anyone wanting an enjoyable listen with great narrators while having the perfect blend of spice and plot.

Can someone explain to me what the bath was about because it’s never explained like why are they just hanging around?!

It’s a cute story!

I really did enjoy this story. I love the ideas and concept behind it and I honestly enjoy the two main leads however I feel like their love story was rushed. But I hope we are able to get another story with these two.

Don't come looking for a Gargoyles fanfic.

I didn't but it seems the other reviewers did. Also be aware of the smut I guess? Kinda weird one reviewer didn't know what they were getting into with the monster lover genre.

I do have to agree with others that the second half was much better than the first. I took multiple breaks during the first part but once the second half started I was hooked..

I thought I had guessed the ending and was rather disappointed at the mundane turn I thought it was taking but I was delightfully suprised at the ending we got. I want to see more of them like that!!

I don't like female narrators and I especially hate dual narration but I enjoyed this one enough; They both did a good job.

Can't wait to listen to the next one! <3

This is my first gargle book. It was very good plot and the spice was🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.
