WOW! This audiobook made me completely fall in love with Jax and Hailey!!! It’s a DUET narration that just took this story to the next level and I did not want to hit pause as I was so adsorbed into the story from their incredible performance! Thank YOU Nikki for putting so much care into your audiobooks as it shows and completely pays off!

📖2 Fights is such a powerful story that takes you on a journey and is truly a hard fought HEA. Hailey has endured so much toxicity and emotional abuse from her ex Steve that broke her down. While her sister’s best friend, Jax has always been there to support her, now their relationship begins to develop into more. Their romance is such a beautiful story of Hailey taking back her power while also getting so much support, care and love from Jax along the way. He was so perfect for her in every way including the small things such as allowing her to have every desire in the bedroom that she wanted which she had been made to feel ashamed about. And let me just say, that spice was SMOKING HOT in this book!!! Jax has quite the mouth on him and is definitely a king of dirty talk!!

🎧AUDIO REVIEW:
OUTSTANDING on audio!! It's a DUET narration by J.F. Harding and Emma Wilder who both took the words of this story and completely breathed life into them!!! They did a phenomenal job using their voices to perfectly express all of the deep feelings and emotions of their characters while also bringing out the palpable chemistry and of course sexy heat between them. There were moments where you could just feel the weight of sorrow in their voices during the tough moments and then the next chapter fanning yourself off listening to the dirty mouth of Jax in J.F. Harding’s deep sultry tone.

Overall, this is truly an audiobook that feels like you are watching their romance all play out on a screen as the acting skills of J.F. Harding and Emma Wilder perfectly captured Jax & Hailey as navigate their relationship turning from friendship to more from the hard moments to the sexy times. Simply incredible and easily one that I will be listening to again!!!

Ohhh Jax I love that mouth of yourssss, in more ways than one 🔥🥵 These two are friends to lovers, Hailey is coming out of an abusive relationship and finds comfort in an old friend (sisters best friend) but as they grow and learn together they can’t help but fall in love! I love these two, love Nikki’s writing even more, and next book in the series comes out this month! 100% recommend anything Nikki, this series is everything and more! 🖤

AUDIO: 10/10 narration. Absolutely loved the voices that portrayed Jax and Haile. JF Harding and Emma Wilder really brought the characters to life.

One of my fave audiobooks of all time, you really lose yourself in the story! I couldn’t stop listening.

The story itself was also perfection! One of my fave friends to lovers books 😩🤍 I love these characters so much !! Amazing character development. Yummy spice 🫠 I need more of them!

2 Fights is The Fight Game: Book Two. This story follows Hailey and Jax, both characters that were introduced to us in 5 Rounds (book one) Hailey is Remy’s younger sister and Jax is their childhood friend. It was clear in 5 Rounds that Hailey was in a toxic relationship with her long term boyfriend, Steve. 2 Fights explored more of their toxic relationship until finally Hailey was at her breaking point and ended things with Steve. Jax being the protector, best friend and shoulder to cry on that he is, is there to help Hailey pick up the pieces. It quickly became apparent that there was white hot chemistry between the two but will Hailey be able to undo all of the negativity and lies Steve forced on her to go on and have a positive relationship with Jax or was the damage irreversible?

Once again another incredible book from Nikki Castle! I hate what Hailey endured during her time with Steve, but loved that Jax was able to show her how she should be treated! He helped her explore her kinks and never shamed her for them; he treated her like a queen both in and out of the bedroom. This third act breakup gutted me!! I was literally crying at my desk! The epilogue made up for it though.

Emma Wilder and J.F. Harding were the perfect fit for the job! Like I said, the third act break up gutted me and not only was it because of the writing but also because of their emotional performances during that chapter. Emma captured Hailey’s vulnerability and character growth perfectly. J.F. delivering Jax’s dirty talk was 😮‍💨

Listening to this book brings a whole new experience. The narrators do a wonderful job at brining these characters to life and make you fell all of the feels. I’m convinced that everyone needs a Jax in their life. This man treats his woman like a queen she is and takes no crap from anyone who thinks differently. Also that mouth of his 🤤 I love how much Hailey’s confidence and strength was built back up throughout this book. Not just by Jax but by her own self too.

Emma Wilder and JF Harding deserve a standing ovation after this listen. I loved this story, Nikki, and these two playing Hailey and Jax in DUET NARRATION is a knockout. This story is relatively beefy, clocking in just shy of 14 hrs. I loved that there is plenty of background and world building to form both characters; and that it is inevitable that Jax and Hailey will find the right time on their paths to each other.

Hailey is a young twenty something who, at the start of the story, has been in a long term relationship with someone who makes her feel insignificant in all the ways that matter. Emma portrays Hailey’s efforts to appease her boyfriend with a yearning of a girl who is looking for her fairytale and truly thought she had it. As Hailey starts to recognize the toxicity and level of gaslighting that Steven brings to the table, Emma delivers a gripping performance of how a woman can find and yield her power to go after what she wants. It goes without saying that JF will really make you dislike Steven in the best way.

Jax has always been in Hailey’s life as her older sister’s best friend. Hailey always had a crush on him, but because of timing and being on different trajectories (not to mention his friendship with her sister) they never dated. He has been a witness to how her light has been dimmed, and once she has broken up with Steve, she becomes more present in his life than ever before. JF plays a steady and solid Jax— a man who is fiercely protective of his circle and will always do the honorable thing. And as the tension heats up between them, and Hailey and Jax discover their feelings and friendship in a seductive and secret-revealing dance…. Well, I bet you can guess where this is going. 😮‍💨

Emma and JF were nothing but delicious, emotive and wide-ranging when playing this cast of characters (which includes Hailey’s sister Remy and her boyfriend Tristan…who you see in 5 Rounds). When JF, as Jax, empowered Hailey to speak up about her interests and desires in the bedroom I FELT it in Emma’s performance as she allowed Hailey to blossom.

Thank you, Nikki, for this ALC. The story is a siren song that all women are capable of finding their self-worth outside of their relationships, and that the good partners are the ones who build you up to be your own powerhouse.

JF did an amazing job capturing Jax’s sweet & tender side but also his rough and dominating side. I might be a Tristan girl, but I’d be lying if I said Jax didn’t make me blush

Emma is the perfect Hailey. The way she brought Hailey’s emotions, thoughts, and growth to life was so special. Hailey is such a kick ass character and her journey was so powerful and I love how Emma captured her essence perfectly!

Jax and Hailey’s chemistry is off the charts. You could feel it while reading the book and you ABSOLUTELY feel it during the audiobook. Emma & JF absolutely killed these spicy scenes - my brain short circuited & it was all I could think about. The spice was spicing between their first time and that belt scene, god damnnnn they were HOTTTTTTT🌶️🔥🥵

Nikki Castle is slaying the audiobook game! I LOVEEEE that these are duet narration; it’s such a game changer & the narrators Nikki picks completely embody her characters!

I love this series the first time around, but getting to listen to it on audio? I didn't know how bad I needed it. J.F. Harding and Emma Wilder in a duet are so freaking good!! They really brought Hailey & Jax to life, and I felt like I was experiencing the book for the first time all over again.
Getting to hear Jax saying "baby girl"? I didn't know how bad I needed that!!
And the spice?! In your ears?! So so good!!
Don't even ask me how many clips I have bookmarked from this audiobook.

This book was like coming back home. I remember Hailey & Jax in 5 rounds. Hailey breaking up with her controlling boyfriend Steve & staying with them. Okay I legit hate Steve. Like hello narcissistic jerk. BYE! I enjoyed this friends to lovers book, this trope can be so good when it’s done right! Also I love the little list they created. And watching Hailey battle with the toxic traits & self doubt that Steve created, but overcoming & finding herself again.

This was such a fun audiobook! I loved being able to reread Hailey and Jax’s story. There were small details that I had forgotten about. I forgot about how much I hated Steve and laughed the first time they mentioned the list. Both narrators did a great job and I love listening to this one! Nikki Castle takes her audiobooks seriously. The amount of planning and selection of narrators is unreal. Cannot wait to listen to the rest of the series!
