Audible today announced a first-look worldwide deal with three-time NBA champion and two-time MVP Stephen Curry’s production company, Unanimous Media. The multi-project slate, focusing on stories of family, sports and faith, kicks off with two original titles, The Greatest Sports Story Never Told and Fifteen Minutes from Home.
Rachel Ghiazza, Executive Vice President, Head of US Content at Audible, commented: “Audible’s commitment to creating meaningful and inspiring audio content is underscored by collaborations with multifaceted talent and production teams like this one. We could not be more excited to join forces with Stephen Curry’s Unanimous Media to share these powerful stories that I know will resonate with our millions of listeners.”
“We are excited to be expanding our Unanimous ecosystem into the audio space, and are proud to team up with Audible to carry out our vision in producing compelling content that will spark conversations,” said Stephen Curry and Erick Peyton, Unanimous Media co-founder and chief creative officer.
The Greatest Sports Story Never Told podcast offers a deep dive into a fascinating story with roots in the world of athletics, but with an impact that goes far beyond fields, courts and diamonds. The 10-part series consists of 30 minute episodes.
Fifteen Minutes from Home, which is based on the current hit series 5 Minutes from Home on YouTube, gives listeners a disarming and intimate peek into the lives of superstars. In each episode, Curry rides home from one of his games with a celebrity or expert, seeking insights on subjects like comebacks, work-life balance and more.
Premiere timing for The Greatest Sports Story Never Told and Fifteen Minutes from Home is forthcoming.
