Multi-Platinum Music Producer Maejor to Release Audible Original

The book cover, featuring Maejor looking down and frequency waves around him, is placed on a blue background.

Audible and Audio Up, a podcast production studio and of the one most innovative brands in the audio entertainment space, have come together to produce a new Audible Original, hosted and executive produced by heavyweight record producer, singer and songwriter Maejor (aka Brandon Green), titled Maejor Frequency. An inventive original podcast, Maejor Frequency is set to premiere January 20 exclusively on Audible and explores the health and wellness space in a new and pioneering way by experimenting with frequencies to develop and encourage wellness with the goal to bring intentional frequency into the mainstream.

Listen to the official Maejor Frequency trailer here.

When Maejor, who has worked with the likes of Justin Bieber, Drake, Trey Songz, Ciara, and T-Pain, was diagnosed with rare blood cancer CML, he sought traditional medical treatment, but the experience sent him on a journey exploring the healing powers of sound. In this 10-episode musical journey (each episode unlocks an original song produced solely for this series), Maejor Frequency will give listeners an intimate look into that very quest that took Maejor from Peru to Detroit, Malaysia, Jamaica, Atlanta, Joshua Tree, Los Angeles, Japan, Malibu, and finally Egypt. Along the way he learned about binaural beats, theta brain wave state, biofield tuning and the restorative powers of music tuned to the frequency of 432 hertz. Listeners will join Maejor on a mind-bending, soul-restoring voyage, that features conversations with a wide range of sound and music experts from around the world—including EDM superstar Martin Garrix, entrepreneur Rohan Marley, Gurujas of the Grammy-winning White Sun, mega-producer Boi-1da (Drake, Rihanna), and Japan’s reigning pop punk kings ONE OK ROCK. Maejor Frequency offers a fascinating deep dive into the surprising powers of intentional frequency.

“I'm blessed to be able to have incredible collaborations and a medium that allows me to bring listeners the journeys I've taken around the world and the secrets that the universe has unlocked for me,” said Maejor. “Audible and Audio Up have let me stretch my arms around an idea and tell a story that I've wanted to tell for some time now. I believe that the frequencies we are putting out within this project, have the ability to change individuals’ chemistry, and hopefully the world.”

“This has been one of the most unique musical journeys of my life,” added Audio Up founder and CEO, Jared Gutstadt. “I came into this project as a skeptic and am leaving as a true believer. The power of frequency can change the world around you. Maejor and I have been longtime friends and collaborators, but this is the first time we've been able to unlock the true power of his storytelling in a multi- dimensional media offering. This is singularly unique. I cannot wait for the world to discover the stories and music behind this fascinating concept.”

Maejor Frequency was created by Audio Up CEO Jared Gutstadt and written and produced by Audio Up CCO Jimmy Jellinek. The series is hosted and executive produced by Maejor, executive produced by Audio Up, and is an Audible Original, available exclusively on Audible beginning January 20th, 2022.
