I'm really starting to wonder if I'm just so in love with the Narrator (Sebastian York) or this is going to be another fabulous series that he just ha..Show More »ppens to read???? Either way......absolutley brilliant writing and of course the narration brings it home!!!!
BUT WHY........ just put one book out at a time! I truly hate this!
This is a great quickie escape of the continued antics of Drew and the other cast of quirky characters. Best of all, the great narration of Sebastian..Show More » York. If for no other reason than to let that man cater to your ears, this book is definitely worth a listen!
What happened to strong determined Kate? Apparently she was asking the same question. Hate is a strong word, but I hatd this story. I finished it beca..Show More »use I wanted to give a complete review.
Issues: 1> No real plot just a bunch of pity-partying going on by Kate, 2> 10 chapters of one huge misunderstanding where Kate was just as much to blame as Drew. When did lying become dismissable? Why wasn't her fault emphsized more in the story to everyone? It all started with her lie. Seriously this was almost juvenile. 3> The misunderstanding was stupid that it should not have taken 10 chapters to address. It made me fall out of love with this couple. 4> It felt more like an opportunity to highlight Kate and Billy Warren's relationship with all the flashback and him being there. He wasn't all that great of a guy either so to now try to give him some friend with benefit redeaming quality WT*. Kissing? Really. Whose suppos to believe it's truly over if you would still kiss. Perhaps that is the backdrop for DeeDee story in Tamed.
It's a very solid "romantic comedy" listen. This book is as good as the first in the series. I loved book 1 tangled but was disappointed by the follo..Show More »w up story. Because book 2 was a bit of a bore I didn't plan on downloading book 3, but a friend told me it was more similar to book 1. I am so glad I did download tamed - this is a very entertaining read. Emma Chase really finds her stride using the male POV. It's humerous, smart and fun. I hope she puts more male POV stories out there, cause I for one am a fan.
This book will make you laugh out loud! I loved it. The world according to Drew Evans is a world that promises non-stop laughter, "eye rolling" arroga..Show More »nt comments, and definitely moments of real tenderness as he and Kate continue their love story into parenthood and marriage. If this is the final chapter for Drew and Kate, it's a great ending to this series, and I highly recommend it for romantic comedy lovers.
