Obstacles are placed in their way. Love blossoms. But someone needs to take Ms Frank's Thesaurus away. Not every verb or noun needs an adverb or adjective. No, really. Sighs are delicious; wriggles are saucy; cries are feminine; air is wilderness cold, and on and on and on. When reading, you can skip over the overblown prose, but listening lets you be tortured by every unnecessary modifier. The reader does fine until she tries a mutilated Australian accent for the heroine and her family. Ugh.

Although this one isn't as "hot" as some of her others, I still enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to book 3 (if it ever comes out?).
