Great read
This was a great read. However, I’m a bit confused because the fact that her kids stay with the dad why wouldn’t her daughters have the same as her? I just feel like that part is off to me.

One Narrator

Really good story!

The story is extremely creative and the female narrator is wonderful, but the male voice leaves you wanting. Troy Durant would have been the best to represent Zander's voice.

A complex & compassionate story
I am just delving into IR fantasy. What a great book to try for this new-to-me genre! Complex storytelling mixed with compassionate yet flawed characters make for an interesting interwoven plot. Camille, Ian & Xander are beautifully written. Their emotions jump off the page & their passion is palpable. The smooth transition to book 2 is definitely appreciated. I love this series & it has opened my eyes to a new IR genre. Thank you Kenya for laying the foundation for a new love of witches, vampires, mages & the like. Looking to try something new within the IR framework? Try this book!

So good!
I’ve only listened to one other book by this Author and they haven’t disappointed yet. It’s a good book, good storyline and lots of sexiness! You will not be disappointed listening this book, especially if you love a good vampire love story. Definitely worth it! It does leave off on a cliffhanger, but it just makes me want to read the next book.
