Amazing story lines

Overall: 3.75 I liked the story a lot but there was so much happening all at once that I kept having to replay scenes multiple times to make sure I was hearing right. Loved the ending I truly do think it saved this book from just getting a 3 star rating.

Stick with it !

This book nearly drove me bonkers in the beginning….and through the middle.I had a feeling that it was unfolding a very good narrative.However it was taking it’s sweet time by the end of the middle of the book it started to prove me right. It may be the slowest start to a series I’ve ever read but stick with it and you’ll see it ends up a very good story. The ending is sudden and leaves you ready to immediately start the next in the series and I doubt it’s possible for anything else to happen slowly !!!

Love the Violence

Great detail and the narrator really gets into character. Plot twists and the balance and power struggle between the classes are a good mix. Immediately starting the next one.

Loved this book!

This audiobook was great! easy to follow along. Love the storyline! on to 2nd book.

Pretty good but…

The premise for the story was pretty awesome. However, it was categorized as a romance and it absolutely is NOT. There’s no HEA or HFN and while it does not end on a total cliffhanger, nothing has been resolved between the hero and heroine. In fact, it feels like everything is just ramping up. Overall it was pretty good and the narration was excellent.

Good

Let me just say, I can see why some didn't finish it. There are things that could definitely be added to, which could have made this series a 10 star. Details are key in books like this, but all though some details were non-existent, I still enjoyed the start of Lila and Samael's story.
Fallen Angel's, mortals, and magic are an intriguing mix.

I haven't listened to the whole book but hearing it read with an accent makes this book all the more appealing.
I love The Fallen so much. Lila is so interesting and mysterious and bada$$. Samael is a little terrifying but it's makes this story all the better!
I read this book in one night and I was so intrigued that after a little sleep I started right back at the beginning and read it again. I'm so happy to have it on audible, it's one of my favorites!

Overall 5 ⭐️

I wish it was a bit longer to give more time for character development. We spend so much time on an Adventure but I don’t feel like I got to know the Angels well enough nor our main girl and what she really is.

I’m so happy book 2 & 3 are already available so I can hopefully see more developments unfold!
