When Lily is freed from alien captivity, she refuses to wait for rescue - or recapture. She'll take her chances in the forest. I only have one con... the "decision " was drawn out far too long. The book was amazing otherwise . Hoping for another book in this series. Maybe Izzo or Fayo or the demon... anywhere looking forward to more books from this Author.

Loved Lilly’s ability to adapt in any situation and her feisty attitude. Verakko was surprisingly romantic and playful, but she brought out those traits. Their time in the jungle seemed a little long but was so exciting to hear their interactions. This had lots of adventures and danger, along with sexy situations and hot sex. Great combination along with great narration by Stephen Dexter. Can’t wait for the next book to come out in Audible.

I loved this book of course I had my quills with the characters but you have that with every book y’all are forgetting these are all separate stories in the same universe that overlap lightly it’s not going to be the same every time then y’all would complain about that just enjoy the book or don’t sheesh

I really wasn't the biggest fan of book 2 and I'm glad this book focused on the couple more. I think the ending drama from Lily's indecision was a bit too long but otherwise a solid story. I'm hoping the next book keeps the same kind of momentum and balance going.

The Publisher’s Summary for this book is pretty good in giving basic story info. Of the series, this is my favorite so far. Excellent Chapter 14 - hot, hot, hot! This book is not a sex fest - at all - but when Lily and Verakko finally come together, you believe in the inevitability of their mating bond.
I’ll take a love story over a murder story any day of the week. Creation vs destruction: this takes no effort at all to choose.
Dexter did ok on the narration.

The amount of times I wanted to DNF because of Lily's choices was too damn high which is unfortunate because I started out really liking her. I hate the miscommunication trope but holy shit Lily took it to another level, she makes assumptions due to her own bias and then lashes out at everyone when her assumptions are wrong. I felt so bad for literally everyone who had to interact with her. Also she doesn't respect Verakko's "no" to intimacy and that's just icky in general. Definitely still a fun read despite how much I wanted to throttle her lol

This book was the best one of the series, so far. The MMC and FMC have to traverse the woods together and, as they get to know each other, their connection grows. I enjoyed their banter and the development of their relationship.
