I like where the "science" seems to be going. just wish the characters were more balanced. Too much cliche, cookie cutter personalities. Still going in for the 2nd in the series.

I think the idea for a good story was there, but the attempt was lackluster.

I have read and listen to several end of days series and I have to say this first book in this Series and the different approach is got me hooked. I am starting book 2 once I post this review. Narrator has done a good job with the various characters voices and the entire storyline.
