Publisher's summary

It's been three long years since Deadbreak. That's what everyone's calling it - the day the dead rose. Every day since then, Jeremiah Reid has had one goal: to make his way back to his daughter. With his four-legged companion, Joe, Jeremiah has to travel a lawless wasteland teeming with zombies, bandits, and worse, like people who put anchovies on pizza (you know who you are).

It's a new world out there, and no one is safe. People are weary, cities are in ruin, supplies are scarce, and brains are on the menu. If he's going to have a chance, he'll need his wits, a little bit of luck, and lots of ammo.

zombies meets Deadpool!

Loved this book! Now I have to see what else Jorge has written. I absolutely love the snarky, witty one liners. And this book is chock-full of them.

Very Enjoyable Listen

Good zombie yarn, which as always is kind of secondary to the main story. Jeremiah is a smart aleck, always with a wise crack and talks to his dog Joe, who may or may not actually talk back to him.

Great keep you up all night read!

Action, humor, gore, zombies... I hated to put this book down to sleep. Zombies are getting old but the story revolves about the main character who is funny, fearless and has a rage problem. I loved everything about the book and I hope to read more from this author. I even wish for a part two. 5 stars!!!

great Story

Not the same old zombie story. The humor and wisecracking main character, was a fantastic addition to the story.

Loved it! Great story, lots of action, and humor.

I really enjoyed this book. Great characters, sarcastic humor and fast paced. The narrator was really good. All around exciting read.

I generally dislike zombie books that occur years after the outbreak. Not this one.

This book is absolutely wonderful. The protagonist is hilarious, the action intense, and the story compelling. The narration was also top notch. One of my favorite zombie novels of all times. Definitely recommended!

Super entertaining.

I love the book from start to finish, it’s an excellent book and it’s very entertaining, very, the comical main character of the story gives this book that exciting experience no other zombie book has given me. I honestly recommend this book to anyone who likes a great zombie story but is tired of the same.

fun action puns and a cheeky character/reader

Jorge wrote a great book!
James voiced a great book.

Think dead pool's humor - ish in the Zombocolyps.

I really hope there are more books in this series.

Ryan Reynolds with zombies

I know that sounds cliche, but it's got the same type of humor. There are very few surprises, but the author handles emotion well by trying to hide from it. Not a serious book but it never tries to be, and that's what saves it and keeps it enjoyable.

P.S. Don't let the preview scare you away like it almost did me, where it focused on the models of the handguns, usually a hint of a poor book, or at least overly pulpy but serious.
