Loved, Loved, Loved this book...but way to leave me hanging until the next book Mr. Schow! I hope you write fast! Ha! And as always I'm in love with Mr. Pierce's voice!

A great story

This is a very interesting post apicalyptic story. Enjoyed listening especially with one of the best narrators in the business, Mr. Kevin Pierce. On to book two I go. Well done Mr. Schow.

Another Wild Ride with Schow

This series begins after the Zero Population scare has taken place and is set in the backwoods of Tenn where I currently reside. The characters could be residents of my own town and the goings on are as real as if they were happening today. Once again it begins and I've buckled in for this quick moving scary continuation of what most certainly seems like the "end of times." With tears streaming out my eyes from both laughter and fear I'm moving on to the next book after taking a big breath and checking my blood pressure.

Great book!

One of the best best books ever. It has everything you would want in a book. Highly recommended.

Took awhile but got me hooked

Took hours for it to get me but now on to the second book in the series hopefully more action and less of the past

Can't wait to start book 2!

Honestly the reason I started this book was due to Kevin Pierce. The man could read the yellow pages, in my opinion, and make it sound interesting but now I'm a Ryan Schow fan! Book held me from beginning to end. It has complex true-to-life characters and more than enough reality to encourage your gardening abilities. Can't wait to start book 2.

Just Excellent!

Just a really engaging story. Wonder where the Banks family will roll in the sequel. Was great listen. Had keep going on it.

As always Kevin Pierce brings the story to life! Can't wait for the next in the series.

Good, could be better

Interesting setting and main character. Main character is a bit inconsistent but I chalk that up to him being kind of crazy. Some unrealistic relationship stuff, and some somewhat absurd scenarios but overall it was interesting. I may try the second book.

How many times is Mom going to shoot the runner/mule holding the chicken?

This chapter repeats, it's in chapter 16, this is very disappointing
